This year we decided that the State of Origin belonged on the big screen ... and these residents agreed!
Around 14 residents gathered to watch the game together, in our Level One Lounge. Drinks and snacks in hand they settled in to watch New South Wales and Queensland go head-to-head in Game One.

And what a win!! 💙💙💙 Bring on Game Two! GO THE BLUES!

The Biggest Morning Tea is an annual oppurtunity for individuals or businesses to host a morning tea, to raise essential funds for people impacted by cancer.

So fundraise we did!

Last Thursday we hosted an afternoon tea for our residents, filled with cakes, tarts , slices and prosecco 🎂🥂.
It is was a wonderful afternoon for a wonderful cause and w are thrilled to say that with donations from residents and from our Village bar, we raised an incredible $720

Thank you to everyone who joined us, all of those who hosted their own Biggest Morning Tea, and to the researchers who work tirelessly to find a cure ♡

This morning we were treated to a very special visit ... Meet George the Kangaroo!

A residents' daughter takes care of orphaned and injured wildlife and occassionally brings in some adorable guests
George came to her with broken legs and cataracts sustained from brain trauma, when his mother was hit by a car and he was thrown down the road.

We are so very lucky to get up close and personal with these amazing animals.
A big 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 to the amazing individuals working for Southern Cross Wildlife Care, who take care of the wildlife that we are lucky enough to share this country with ♡

Abinesh (CFO) and Maricar (accounts) - from Baldwin Living Head Office - joined residents and staff on Tuesday, for Seabeach Gardens Budget Meeting.

It is important to us that there is transparency and understanding when it comes to finances for the Village, and these budget meetings are crucial to being able to explain the upcoming budgets and legislation as well as allowing residents to ask any questions, or express any concerns they may have.

Thank you to all the residents who attended...It was a wonderful turnout and we were thrilled to see so many involved.
